We are seeking a dynamic, articulate, and instructional-savvy Training & Development Facilitator to lead high-impact learning initiatives for our event teams. In this role, you will design and deliver comprehensive training modules—both in-person and virtually—covering event protocols, safety standards, customer service excellence, and technical systems. Key Responsibilities
Facilitation & Instruction: Lead live training sessions, workshops, and webinars for staff, volunteers, and contractors, ensuring material is delivered clearly and effectively.
Instructional Design: Adapt and refine training curriculum, slide decks, and participant guides to align with evolving event objectives and organizational standards.
Virtual & Hybrid Delivery: Manage digital learning environments using platforms like Zoom or Teams, utilizing breakout rooms, polls, and interactive tools to maximize remote engagement.
Learning Assessment: Implement pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge retention and gather feedback to improve training effectiveness.
Operations Alignment: Partner with event leadership to identify training gaps and tailor programming to address specific operational needs or site-specific requirements.
Resource Management: Maintain a library of training assets, including video tutorials, digital manuals, and quick-reference checklists for on-the-job support.
Mentorship & Coaching: Provide real-time feedback and coaching to staff during events, reinforcing training concepts in live, high-pressure environments.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field; CPTD or similar facilitation certification is highly preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in corporate training, instructional design, or workshop facilitation, with a strong emphasis on both virtual and in-person delivery.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in digital learning tools (e.g., Learning Management Systems, Zoom, Kahoot!, Microsoft Teams).
Proficiency in creating engaging presentation media using tools like PowerPoint, Canva, or Articulate.
Ability to troubleshoot basic AV and technical issues during sessions.

Engaging Presence: Exceptional public speaking skills and the ability to maintain audience interest in both physical and virtual rooms.
Adaptive Teaching Style: Capacity to modify instructional pace and complexity to meet the needs of different learner groups.
Operational Mindset: Understanding of event logistics, allowing for training that is practical, actionable, and aligned with field realities.
Inspirational Leadership: Ability to motivate participants and instill a sense of pride and professional purpose in their event roles.
