We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented, and highly mobile Talent Acquisition Specialist with Field Support to lead our staffing efforts in high-demand event environments. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring event personnel while serving as a hands-on representative on the ground. If you possess a "boots-on-the-ground" mentality, excel at recruiting under pressure, and have the ability to manage the candidate experience from initial outreach to on-site integration, this is a unique opportunity to shape the workforce that powers our most ambitious events.
Key Responsibilities
Active Sourcing & Recruiting: Execute dynamic recruitment strategies—including job fairs, community outreach, and social media campaigns—to build a robust pipeline of high-quality event staff and volunteers.
Field Operations Support: Deploy to event sites to manage the "last-mile" of recruitment, including walk-in applicant processing, real-time staff troubleshooting, and on-site workforce coordination.
End-to-End Candidate Experience: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial screening and interviews to credentialing and on-site onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate journey.
Operational Integration: Collaborate closely with project managers to forecast staffing needs and ensure that the right talent is deployed to the right event zones at the right time.
Compliance & Documentation: Maintain rigorous standards for background checks, employment eligibility verification, and record-keeping, ensuring full compliance with local laws and organizational policies.
Performance Metrics: Track key recruitment KPIs such as "time-to-fill" and "on-site retention," providing data-driven reports to management to improve future staffing strategies.
Ambassadorial Presence: Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining a professional and engaging presence when interacting with candidates, venue staff, and local community stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; certification in talent acquisition (e.g., AIRS, SHRM) is a plus.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in high-volume recruitment, staffing agencies, or field-based event operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and mobile recruitment tools.
Ability to work in mobile, fast-paced field environments using tablets, laptops, and digital documentation platforms.
Experience analyzing recruitment metrics and reporting on workforce performance.
